Parent, teacher and community partnership is critical to the ongoing development of an engaging, enriching education for our children. The parents and teachers in the Williams School PTO devote time and funds to programs that enhance the educational experience of the children at Williams.
Following are a sampling of programs funded through the PTO:
• Creative Arts and Sciences
• Child Abuse Prevention Program
• Recognition Events, such as the Intergenerational Penpal Luncheon
• Library Resources: books, subscriptions
We are grateful for all the parent support we receive each year in the form of volunteer hours, PTO dues, and fundraising contributions. We look forward to another wonderful year at Williams.
The Williams School PTO’s goals are:
• Foster communication, understanding, and cooperation among parents and teachers in order to benefit all children in the Williams School;
• Provide support and services to the School community; and
• Promote and encourage the support of public school education in the City of Newton.
The organization is not involved in commercial or sectarian activities, nor shall it be involved in any campaign for public office.
